Real stories about real people taking control of their sexual health. When faced with a question of how we showcase an increasing number of participants, I was responsible for the conceptualization and design of the “real stories map.” Additionally, had the privilege of art directing two full films for the program.
A completely interactive map that encompasses the breadth of real stories, by clicking into specific regions, you can see an array of content from videos to quotes and photography in one easy, user-friendly place.
Sergio’s World
Based in Texas with his large family and small army of “fur babies,” we didn’t just profile Sergio’s story, but the entire family’s and how they all affected his PrEP journey. And what better way to show them all off than a 2000s sitcom motif? (Laugh track pending)
A Day in Myka’s Life
As a PrEP Coordinator, cat mother, transgender advocate, and active Miami socialite, there was a lot on Myka’s plate! We went with a more subdued style to emphasize her glamorous lifestyle and used a handwritten font to have the feel of a dayplanner and really drive home all she accomplishes.
